    A 72-page PDF from the United Nations Environment Program.

  • Green Meetings Policy
    This is a 22-page PDF from the National Recycling Coalition and contains information on printed materials, food and beverage functions, on-site facilities, exhibit halls and exhibitors, conference hotels and sleeping rooms, educating attendees and recycling advisors, evaluation of recycling and waste prevention efforts, criteria for future site selection, additional resources.

  • Planning an Event – Consider Serving Local Food
    A publication on serving local foods at conferences and workshops has been developed and is now available on the UW-Extension's The Learning Store Publications web site.

  • Wisconsin’s Travel Green Program
    Travel Green Wisconsin is a voluntary self-certifying sustainable tourism program. To earn certification, applicants must first supply the Wisconsin Environmental Initiative with a Baseline Environmental Performance Assessment. The baseline collects information about the amount of energy, fuel, water, and solid waste that the business consumed during the last calendar year.
